Lawrence Breyer, my great great great grandfather arrived in Philadelphia prior to the 1840 census, he was a sugar maker from Germany, who married my great great grandmother, Martha Allen in London. She and the children arrived in the US about 1833, can't positively find him on a passenger list and there were 2 Lawrence Breyers who were sugar makers in Philly at about the same time. ;)

My mother's maiden name was Elizabeth Breyer.  She was born May 26, 1924.  She was born here.  Her parents, Clara Reeber Breyer and George Breyer were naturalized.  Mom is the eldest of four children.  Her sister Margaret is still alive also.  Her brother George died in 2002.  Her sister Clara died in 1931-1932.
