Here is Henry Bostic of 1827.  We just have to wonder who he was and if he is related in some way. Still looking!

I also found a reference to Henrys obituary. I will order it. They cost only 5 dollars. I have ordered one before. Let's see if this will have some extra information to go on.

Hazel I found Henry and Sarah in Fairfield. I altered the spelling and it came up.

Ken.  I found Henry living with Sarah (His Mom) in 1900 in Fairfield County SC.  He was listed as being 18. I found it at the SC State Archives, I am unable to find online.

Uncle Henry was the younger brother of Grandpa Joel.  I was fortunate enough to have known him.  His final years were spent in Eastover, SC,  Born Dec 15, 1887,  Died Dec 10, 1969.

Judith, I believe That Lexington is a County in SC.  My grandparents were married in Lexington County in 1884

Is Lexington across the Gervais Street bridge in Columbia?  

I have seen a Henry Bostic before and will start keeping track.  

How about the Bostick Funeral Home in Columbia?  Any relationship?  There was a house selling on Pulaski Street not so long ago.  An older home (so many were torn down and replaced) and owned by a Bostic. I wonder who this is?

Hazel/Judith there was in the 1910 census living with Joel and Betty Bostic my great grandparents a Henry Bostic who was listed as a brother. He was 35 years old.

Hi Hazel, I think, 1862 is much later than the date I have for Susan and William's notice from the post office.  I will find the notice today, check it out and let you know for certain!  The name William, in both cases, could connect in a naming way. People like to name their children after a favorite sister, brother, uncle, etc. Thanks, Hazel!
