Permalink Reply by Charleen Pickett Schuster on November 11, 2011 at 5:06pm I would love to go to Hampton, New Hampshire and check this area out someday! I have been doing genealogy research for over 20 years. This year finally I became a member of DAR. When searching Anthony Taylor and his descendants out in a book that was Written by Harold Murdock Taylor, it even had my grandfather's name in the book Fred Arthur Pickett, so because DAR had this book it was much easier for me to join the DAR. When doing the Taylor research, I found out that Anthony Taylor brought land from John Cass, which is my 11th great Grandfather on my mother's side and Anthony Taylor is my 11th great Grandfather on my fathers side. Then 327 years later my mother and father get married in Colorado. What a shock this was to find out!
Rev. Stephen Batchelder gave money to the Plough group and one of my Ancestors, Thomas Miner came to American in 1629 on the Lyons Whelp which was part of the ships that came over from England.
