Ohio Bakers?
Looking for information on the parents of William S (Shryock) Baker. Born in Muskingum Ohio in 1857. Married Ida Austin and moved to South Dakota. Had a son Francis Austin Baker in 1887.
Any help will be appreciated.

1860 census William Baker 1yr living with John Davis
1870 that same William Baker is listed as 14yr living with Elizabeth Davis, blue rock Twp., Muskingum Co., Ohio and in 1880 census I see William Baker 18yr living with Morrison family as a farmer, but at the top of page is family of Jesse Davis this is in Washington Twp., Muskingum Co., Ohio.
In 1850 census there is a Johnm Baker on page 99 and John Davis is also on page 99 Blue Rock Twp., this could be the father you are looking for???
