I'm not in Victoria, I work as a professional genealogist in Sydney. If you just want Victorians perhaps you could change the title, so that others don't come looking for professionals in other states.

I have recently set up my own research business after 35 years of working in libraries and archives in various states. In Victoria both Public Record Office Victoria and the National Archives of Australia Victorian Office have lists of researchers who do work at the Victorian Archives Centre. Lists for both are online in PROVguides and Fact Sheets respectively. Also the Australasian Association of Genealogists and Record Agents (AAGRA) maintain a list of members who do work so that is another list to look at. Also on their website and all sites easily found in Google.

Hi Liz. Two researchers whom I can recommend are (for Western Australia) Loreley MORLING, and (for Victoria) Helen HARRIS. I do professional research at Queensland State Archives, and my Web site has lots of free advice plus over 51,000 names from my indexes to archival sources.

I would recommend Kerry Farmer. I have been doing a NIGS course with her on Australian and New Zealand Genealogy. She is very knowledgable on Australian and NSW records.
