I am wondering what Australia blogs about genealogy people follow.

I am making a haphazard attempt at http://geniaus.blogspot.com and I follow Carole Riley's Genealogy in NSW Blog http://heritagegenealogy.com.au/blog/

Oops I forgot about Carole's other blog Carole's Canvas http://caroleriley.id.au/
I am a local and family history librarian for a regional public library service in Victoria, Australia and maintain two blogs:

Yarra Plenty Genealogy: http://ypgenealogy.blogspot.com/

and Yarra Plenty Local History : http://yplocalhistory.blogspot.com/

I have been thinking about starting one up for more personal use though. Will check out yours.

I also follow the Australian War Memorial and National Archives of Australia blogs, Gould Genealogy,
Thanks, Liz.

I do subscribe to your two blogs - and enjoy the articles. I follow quite a few others but will add the Australian War Memorial to my RSS list. Thanks for the tip.
Another one of interest is State Records NSW http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/
I jsut found another Australian blog with interesting articles. It is Fanning Family History & Research It is well worth a look.
Thanks, Liz. I've added this to my RSS feeds.
I recently started a new blog, focusing on both my European ancestors (free settlers and convicts, dating back to the first fleet), and my Aboriginal ancestors from the Eastern States. Hopefully it might be of interest, or perhaps even some use, especially to anyone who might have Indigenous roots. Cheers!

Fantastic - I'm adding it to my RSs feeds too.
From the State Records Office of NSW

State Records NSW is pleased to announce the launch of its latest blog: Archives Outside http://archivesoutside.records.nsw.gov.au . The blog focuses on generating information and discussion about archival collections held in New South Wales and their content, care and management.
We aim to:
1. promote the content of archival collections in New South Wales, and
2. provide information on topics and resources relating to the care and management of archives.
Some of our current posts include:
* Add a digital gallery to your website - http://archivesoutside.records.nsw.gov.au/add-a-digital-gallery-to-...
* Theatrical and Cinema Archives in the Hunter Region - http://archivesoutside.records.nsw.gov.au/theatrical-and-cinema-arc...
* Useful Tips for Reading Handwritten Documents - http://archivesoutside.records.nsw.gov.au/useful-tips-for-reading-h... .

Participation from all keepers and users of archives is welcome, be you an archivist, librarian, a community group member or a personal collector.

We would love you to visit the new blog and check out the posts, articles and tips already available. Why not drop by and leave a comment or a question? Posting is quick and easy, all that is required is an email address (which will not be viewable) and a name (which can be anything you like e.g. Mickey Mouse!).

If you would like to keep up to date with what's happening on the blog you can subscribe via email (http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=ArchivesOutside&am...) or RSS (http://feeds2.feedburner.com/ArchivesOutside).
I also follow a number of Library Blogs - State and Local that have info relevant to Genealogists. These include the State Libraryof WA, The John Oxley Library, Readers in the Mist (Blue Mountains), Sutherland Shire, Lake Macquarie, ACT
I have these Australian blogs listed on Delicious. Would love to add more.
