Hello Everyone,
I am looking for Wright, Middleton and Stringer; Leah was born 1886, Sheffield, married John Robert Stringer born Sussex, 1882, he died in Chicago in 1929. John and Leah had; 1) Mary, born 1909, married Edward Frawley, 2) Kathleen, born 1914 in Chicago, died 1997, 3) John, born 1915, married Alice Rigg, died 1995.
I knew Kathleen very briefly when I was very young.
I am lookiing for any help in finding this branch of my tree.

Hi Kathyrn - Had a quick look, but unfortunately nothing obvious to connect us (yet). Unfortunately, it is a common name in the area, so let's hope for some more members so we may find a bigger connected family.

My great grandmother was Elizabeth Ellen Allott (b. 1869 Bird Acre, Gomersal). Following the male line, I then have James Allott (1822 Dewsbury) who married Ann Preston, Richard Allott (1788 Middlestown or Flockton) who married Susannah Smith, Thomas Allott (1760, Flockton) who married Hannah Stringer and William Allott who married Ann Rydon.

I have other details on the family and would love to know if there is a connection with your research.

The possible head of my Birstall family tree is a Richard ALLATT or ALLOTT & Eunice MERCER (m. 1630), my 10xGGPs. Richard would be born about or before 1612. See my webpage for lines of descent. More joined up trees of Ancestry & Genes Reunited. Pleased to discuss.
