The Ethnicity of African American
This is a discussion of African Americans as an Ethnic Group. Please be respectful of others and their opinions.
As an ethnic Group African Americans are diverse. The label of African American is one that denotes persons who have a least one African Ancestor. Yet most African Americans are Multi-Racial and Multi-Cultural. There are differences in African Americans who are from Louisiana, and those from Michigan. However, a Louisiana Native who moves to Michigan will take their Cultural Traditions with them. The common thread with African Americans is the history here in America. That common History is one that even President Obama identifies with.
