Hi, Group! I've been busy with my own genealogy research for the past for awhile but I'm back! I want to congratulate Maria Concepcion Alvarez for achieving great success in her own Family Tree! A few weeks ago she had about 70 individuals in it and now she has over 300! YEAH, thass what I'm talkin' about!

Juan Balderas, give me more info on José María De la Torre so that I can pinpoint him; I found over 40 with that name. Which Mexican State should I select?

BTW, everyone, I'm going off-line for 2 days, Tues & Wed, because it's my birthday on Aug 26, and I'm gonna go celebrate! I'll be back on Thursday! Yay!

I want to thank Jose Carlos for all his help and williness to share his knowledge and experiences with us along with Debbie. I am searching for any relatives of Rafael Flores ( 1900- 1973) an only child to Jesus Flores and Maria del Refugio Trevino. There is the Pena family that lived in Mercedes Texas in the mid or late 1930's.. His roots are from Tamaulipas, Mexico. His relatives that I have are Martha and Jesusita Pena, I believe they are his cousins but I have no data on them. Rafael married Piedad Rincon ( 1904-1993) and moved to Weslaco, Texas until his death.

Also looking for Estatio Vallejos relative to my greatgrandmother Leocadia Vallejos (abt 1885-1953), she was married to Jesus Rincon (abt 1869-1930) They lived in Reynosa Tamaulipas until her death but iI believe she was from or lived in Linares Tamaulipas. Estatio Vallejo is also beleived to have lived in Mercedes Texas around the mid or late1930"s.

Also looking for my biological father or his relatives. He is Rodolfo Leal born abt 1925, his aunts lived in Mercedes in the early 1940's and his family is from Tamaulipas Mexico , maybe Reynosa. His father's name was Rafael Leal.

Sorry I've been off-line the last 2 days. I've been doing serious Genealogy research in Mexico as well as in Spain.

Debbie, I've invited 50 individuals to be my Genealogy-Wise friend (I didn't realize this was the maximim)! My goal was 135 people.

I have a special on-line Family Tree that I created today. There are over 1,000 of my ancestors (18 generations spanning over 500 years) represented here. If anyone in this group wishes to view it, I will send you an invitation. I need your e-mail address.
