Australian searching for English Records
Hi everyone,
I live in Australia and am now onto the "English" side of my Ancestry. The biggest issue I have is trying to verify records from England. It seems to be soooo expensive. The majority of my "Dennis" family came from Cornwall between 1854-1859 and I am stuck. Any suggestions on where I should start looking now for basic information such as Emigration to Australia, BMD, Trades etc.

The GENUKI pages are always a good place to start Kerin. We have useful information on emigration research. For more detailed enquiries I suggest you post something in the GenealogyWise England group and look to see if there is a Cornish group.
