I descend Wilmington, N.C., Rev. War Society of the Cincinnati Capt. John James who's widow Martha Pugh, wed Ephraim Sholar. She had Wilmington War of 1812 artillery 4th Sgt. Joshua James, Sr., who wed Hetty-Bella Sage. Both died Holmes Co. Miss., and had my LtCol Robert Wm. James, John Sage James, Joshua James Jr., and Mrs Sarah Julia James McIntyre.

Elizabeth Betty James was one of my great g. g. g. g. g. grandmother's on my maternal side. She was born in 1756 in North Carolina and died 6 Mar 1847 in Illinois. She married Isham Drury Bobbitt. I have not conducted any research on this line yet.
