Where to look next? HELP!

I have came to a spot in my Hodge Family Tree Research in which I cannot go any further. This is due to lack of information and/or mostly I do not know where to look. I was told that my Gr Gr Gr Grandfather Bildad had a twin brother Eldad but I cannot clarify or confirm this fact. I did find ONE by the same name but not the same age. Please, need suggestions on where to look next.

What time period and place? Where have you looked already? What is the first name of your 3rd great-grandfather?

My Gr Gr Gr Grandfather's name is Bildad Hodge. He was born 16 May 1785 and died 30 Sept 1860 in Gland Blanc, Michigan. I am also on ancestry.com with a world subscription. Checked rootsweb and the mormons website.

Jody,

When you looked at the FamilySearch website, did you look through the library catalog for microfilms of records for the county your ancestor lived in? You will want to make sure that you do that. These microfilmed records can be ordered online and then delivered to your local FamilySearch Center (formerly Family History Center). You will want to order microfilms of probates, vital records, and court records.
