Did anyone see President Obama speak today from Ireland?!   He looked pretty happy to be back in Moneygall, enjoying a Guiness and connecting with his Irish Ancestry.  It makes me want to get back there and find the villages my Buckley's came from!

I saw this company on Facebook that organizes Ancestry Vacations back to Ireland "Ancestors in Ireland" www.AncestorsinIreland.com  Has anyone used them for a family vacation, or got any advice on visiting the towns of my ancestors?

Thanks!

If you know what county your ancestors are from you can search in the 1901-1911 Ireland census

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie

The Irish Civil Register for Ireland only began in 1864, but by putting a surname and county there, you

will also find ancestors with deaths & marriages.

Thank you Jack.  I love both those free websites and have used them in researching my Irish family ancestry.
