query about Edmund Martyn

I am researching the history of the house I grew up in at 420 Dawson Street in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. I think it was built in 1902 for James Burnett, but I don't know who sold the land to him or who built the house. I understand that Edmund Martyn lived on the 300 block of Dawson, was involved in real estate, and was among those private landowners that had the 400 block platted in about 1900. My question is: Do you know if Edmund Martyn had anything to do with the sale of Lot 15 to James Burnett and/or the building of the house at 420 Dawson Street? Thanks!
