Morgan Families in Armagh
I'm researching my Irish ancestors, especially on my father's side. My great-grandfather, Felix Morgan was born in Armagh around 1827, possibly at Derrynoose. There seem to be a number of Morgan families in this area, and, so far, I've been unable to find his birth certificate so I can't determine which one. As he named his first son Alexander, I thought his father might be Alexander Morgan who lived in Derrynoose and died about 1870. Alexander was married to Ann/Nancy Lennon in about 1824. Their religion was RC.
I have found other Morgans in Armagh and Louth - one a Patrick Morgan and another a Miles Morgan. There seems to be more than one Ann Lennon too.
If anyone could help me sort out the Morgan families of Armagh and adjacent counties, I'd be most grateful.
