MAJOR JOHN ANDRE

Hi

My 5 x Gt Grandfather is Johann Andre b. 1741 in Offenbach, Germany.  In the book by Robert McConnell Hatch entitled "Major Jean Andre, A Gallant in Spy's clothing" it is mentioned on p.31 that he went to visit his kinsman, Johann but does not specify their exact relationship.

I am looking for the exact connection between Johann and Major John as I would love to add Major John to my tree.   I know his parents' details but again I cannot connect  John's father, Anthony Andre with my Andres

Can anyone enlighten me?
