I've traced my Reynolds family back to Caleb Reynolds b 1757 in Connecticut. Caleb was a Loyalist and served with Butler's Rangers during the Revolution. He settled in Upper Canada and had a large family.

I'm interested in his roots pre Revolution and to find out what happened to him after 1800. I have traced one of his sons (David) who was my gg grandfather.

William: I have some of the Reynolds records that may relate. One of Caleb Reynolds sons - William married a direct ancestor of my wife's family.

William Reynolds b 5 Apr 1793 on Hamilton Mountain married Sarah Bostwick Bates b 19 Feb 1797 on 13 Nov 1817.

I have a few of their children listed, but that is all. this is one area of my research on the Bates / Reynolds families that I have not addressed at this time.

Let me know if you are interested in this little bit of family data.
