found marriage announcement
I recently purchased a book from a thrift store and found inside a marriage announcement from 1937. I hate to throw it away and wondered if someone could give me some suggestions as to how to locate possible relatives of the couple. It always makes me sad when I see photo albums and such in a thrift store; someone must want these treasures!

You might find a forum board on Rootsweb or Genforum for California or the surnames listed, and post some of the info on the board to see if anyone can id the people?

The Shirley name is registered with the Guild of One-Name Studies http://www.one-name.org/ . If you contact the researcher for that name, I'm sure they'd be glad of the information.
