Yes this is really getting confusing. The name flambeau I wonder where that comes from.also on Eve-Ann's marriage certificate that I was able to get it states her name as Eve-Ann Jensen Flambeau, this is also a big mystery.I never heard of any sisters, she was supposed to have been an only child.she claimed that her father was killed by lighting, and that is why her mother remarried this Duval. and when her mother died Eve was about 16 and the housekeeper raised her..now I dont know when she headed out west to colorado, now she claimed she took nurses training at Denver General Hospital.,and there she met Felix Plank, who was also taking nurses training.she got pregnant, and when her son was born, she took him to Nebraska to Felix's parents, and she went to Alaska to work with the Eskimoes

But now this is another question why did she wait until she was 35 before she applied for her social security card? this was in 1942,she also said when she came back to the states she settled in Seattle Washington, and went into the Army at Ft Lewis.

Idont know what to think of this I would kind of like to know what she was trying to hide  or deliberately mislead me.  there were times when she would talk about her life, but then she would only say so much and then shut up she claimed that her family was wealthy and that her father had a vinyard over in Bordouex,France, now according to what I have Exilena had one brother and she also had a sister who had two girls,

Hi Marlene,

I find the forums on this site confusing, too - and I never saw your response on "Genealogist Connection" - because I follow the ones on " French-Canadian Descendants" where you made your first post. Here's a link back to the topic:

My son seems to think that Eve-Ann's parents may have come from France and were in Canada and traveled to New Hampshire,or they may have been born in Canada, and that Eve was born in New Hampshire  like it says on her S.S. application, but also on her marriage certificate to Anthony Koschalk, she gives her name as Eve-Ann Jensen Flambeau, why I dont know, but would sure like to find out.Like you said she was hiding something, and my son thinks so too,but when he was here for a visit,he suggested that I search for her parents in Quebec, On the marriage certificate you found for me  his name is spelled Erdras and on her S.S. application the spelling is Edras, would that be short for Edward?also his last name is spelled is that a Thiffault?that is nowhere near Flambeau!  and she has her mother's name as Exilena Chounard, which on the that marraige certificate that spelling is pretty close, why would she have told me her mother's name was Chennault, and she claimed that Claire Lee  Chennault of the famous Flying Tigers was her Uncle, which would have been her mother's brother.

If I emailed you a picture of her and her Mother, and Grandmother could you tell where it was taken? it is on a post card.now did they do that back in those days?on the back Eve_Ann wrote Exilene Chennault, grandmother

Exilene Flambeau  Grandmother,Eve-Ann,mother which is her my mother-in-law,she much have done this with the intention of giving it to her son, but she does not identify the woman standing or the man,or the 2 children sitting in front, the baby Im assuming is Eve-Ann

can I put this on the uploaded files
